Str8Laced Ultralight Rear Bag

 

 Our first entry into the ultra light rear bag market. We’ve teamed up with Str8Laced Gun Gear to produce their well known and widely accepted lightweight bag under the TAB GEAR line of products.

 The Str8Laced bag weighs around 7 ounces and measures roughly 8”x6”x3”. There are many different deployment options due to the 550 cord on each side that is adjusted with cord locks, and the webbing straps that are on each side of the bag.

 FEATURES :

  • Ultra light fill, you hardly know the bag is there.
  • 1000 Denier Cordura covering (MC Arid: 500D)
  • Milspec 1” webbing straps on each large side
  • Black Oxide grommets on each corner
  • 550 cord runs through each grommet and secured with cord locks
  • Two loops to allow a carabiner or dummy cord to be attached to.
  • Made in the USA
  • Lifetime Warranty

Good, but comes short of great. From manufacturer, the bag is way over stuffed with fill. It’s basically a lightweight brick. I had to cut out some stitching, remove some fill, and sew it back together to make it more usable. Build quality was great, and I dont mind that it comes stuffed full, but i wish there was a way to remove some fill that didnt invlove a sharp knife, needle, and thread.

Also, beware, removing fill will create a huge mess. I highly suggest doing this over a trash can.

Now that I’ve done all that, I’m quite happy with the bag.
